Strategic plan structure
Scopes
The 2021-2026 Strategic Plan is divided into the following three SCOPES:
1. People
2. Places
3. Processes
Priorities and goals
For each scope, there are three PRIORITIES, each with a corresponding GOALS, as illustrated in the figure below.
Mission and vision
Belonging: identity
Inclusion: plurality
Sustainability: balance
UniTo and the local engagement: space
UniTo beyond places: digital
UniTo in the world: international
Research: the engine
Education: the energy
Society: the direction
Value: commitment
Actions and indicators
Each GOAL is, in turn, divided into a variable number of ACTIONS. Three levels of INDICATORS have been selected to monitor the Plan:
- indicators referring to economic and staff resources, linked to the action, which measure the impact of the strategy. These measures are used in the internal monitoring and therefore do not appear in Goal, action and indicators section;
- action progress indicators that measure the state of implementation;
- impact indicators measuring the extent to which goals have been achieved.
Connections for a common development strategy
With a view to plan for present and future challenges, UniTo has chosen to link its strategic goals to:
- The sustainable development goals of the UN 2030 Agenda
- the investment priorities of the European Union’s Cohesion Policy 2021-2027;
- the guidelines of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
